ABOUT THE PROJECT
NGO Every Animal, together with the dietitian Mark Shpara, partners Макро-2019 and Eat Me At, developed 7 daily plant-based rations for the military.
Our goal is to provide plant-based food for military vegans, vegetarians, and those who fast or do not consume animal products for health reasons.
Daily vegan MRE were presented to the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine.
FAQ
A vegan ration consists of ready-to-eat or freeze-dried (requiring boiling water) first and second courses. There is also an option to order a combined ration, which includes both ready-to-eat and freeze-dried meals.
Ready-to-eat daily field rations, which include these dishes, were presented to the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine.
The ration includes first courses with two types of plant-based meat (soy meat and Eat Me At): buckwheat, pea, rice, and lentil soups, as well as borscht. It also includes second courses with two types of plant-based meat: buckwheat, pea, rice, and pearl barley porridges, lentils, chickpeas, beans, and bulgur with vegetables.
The shipment is carried out by Nova Poshta.
The average calorie content of one dish ranges from 615 to 780 kcal.
Only military personnel undergoing military service can receive a vegan ration.
According to our estimates, the parcel lasts for 5-7 days.
To receive the parcel, a military identification number and the registration number of the taxpayer's identification card (formerly TIN) are required.
For a repeated request to receive the ration, it will be necessary to provide a certificate of military service.
